Well done to our School Debating Team who defeated Portarlington National School in the 1st Round of the Laois/Offaly Debating Championship. They will travel to Ballyfin National School hoping to secure a place in the Quarter Finals on Friday 26th January.
The team yesterday was Darragh Walker, Mary O' Brien and Sarah Gorman as speakers with Tara Ring and Kate Ryan on Research. Team Captain Lucy Grace will return to the team for the next round.
After Christmas Mr. Maher and Ms. Ging will be running a Debating League for all the pupils in 5th and 6th class
