November is Reading Month. The school will be putting special emphasis on reading during the month and various activities to encourage reading will be taking place. Junior Infant parents, who have been vetted by the school, are invited to the school each Thursday morning from 9.00-9.30 starting 10th November to read with their children.

The Book Fair will be arriving in our school on Friday 18th November and will be open until Wednesday the 23rd of November. Friday will just be a browsing day but books will be available to purchase from Monday-Wednesday next. Money can be given to your child or parents can come to the fair between 1.40-3.00pm on these days. This is a great opportunity for our school to raise money to fund purchase of new books, so your support would be greatly appreciated
Thursday 24th November is the date for Parent/ Teacher meetings. teachers will be in touch with parents to arrange times.
Team Hope is again running its Christmas Shoebox collection for children in poor countries. Details are on the flyer which children brought home. Shoeboxes should be brought into school by Thursday 10th November when they will be collected.
The Junior Infant vaccinations will be administered on Wednesday November 9th at the stated time on your form. Please return this form to the school by Tuesday November 8th. Your child is to wear their school tracksuit on this day. Following the vaccinations the child will go home with their parent/guardian.
The school is accepting applications for junior infant enrolment for the school year 2017-2018 during the month of November 2016. Application forms are available from the school website or the school office. Closing date for receipt of completed application forms is Wednesday 30th November 2016. All applications must be accompanied with a copy of the childs' birth cert and a current utility bill.
