As part of Catholic Schools Week, we celebrate Grandparents Day. We are inviting grandparents of Junior and Senior Infants to our school on Tuesday 7th February at 9.30am. We will celebrate the wonderful gift that grandparents are to children, families and the community to which they belong. Our grandparents are a special part of our families. They care for us, love us and are important teachers in the way of life and the ways of the faith.
Enrolment for next year's Junior Infants opens Friday 13th January. The school's annual admission notice and enrolment application forms are available on our website. The closing date for receipt of applications is Friday 3rd February
A Volleyball Blitz takes place on Tuesday 21st February for 6 Boys and 6 Girls from 6th Class. The blitz will take place in Portlaoise College. The bus leaves at 9.45am and will return at 1pm
Our Mixed Team from 5th and 6th Class play in the Primary School Championships next Thursday 12th@11am in Portlaoise College. The cost for the bus and competition is €5.00
We wish them the best of luck. Volleyball will start every Friday from 13th January for 4th, 5th and 6th Class
Our traditional school draughts leagues commence in January and will be played off over the next tow months
Lunchtime Chess will commence on Tuesdays for children from 3rd-6th who are interested in learning how to play.
Every Tuesday from September 13th Junior Infants to Third Class take part in whole-class singing programme that is hosted by Music Generation
