On Friday 18th June they will have Art Class with Monica De Bath On Thursday 24th Our School will hold their annual Sports Day On Friday 25th, 5th Class are having a YES DAY, loads of fun Our debating team of Emma Sheeran, Myah Walker and Lucy Browne narrowly lost out to Shinrone NS in the Concern Midlands Debating Final held via Teams. The standard of debate was exceptionally high-our thanks to Mr. Maher for all his work with the team.
6th Class Bake Sale takes place this Friday 18th June. All proceeds this year will go to Laois Hospice and Acquired Brain Injury Ireland
The June newsletter has been emailed to all parents. It is also available on this website under the school information tab. All parents should make sure they have read the newsletter and complete the school book rental form by Friday 25th June.

Soccer League starts this week for 3rd to 6th class. It will take place at break times until next Friday 18th June
We have a number of activities arranged to help mark the end of 8 wonderful years for your son/daughter in The Heath NS. These will include: • ‘Yoga with Emma’ (Friday 11th) • Pizza, Popcorn and Movie Party (Thursday 17th) • 6 th Class Charity Bake Sale (Friday 18th) • Virtual Confirmation Retreat (Friday 18th) • Trip to the Heath GC Driving Range (Tuesday 22nd) • Wellness Day: Team Building Exercises (Wednesday 23rd) • Sports Day (Thursday 24th) • Graduation – 2pm in St Peter and Paul’s Church, Portlaoise (Friday 25th) The Heath NS Class of 2021 will always be fondly remembered and we hope that these activities will help give them some wonderful memories. To help cover the costs of the above, we are asking for a contribution of €25 per pupil. This can be paid at your convenience via the School App or by bringing the money straight to the office.
The end of year 6th class mass will take place in the Parish Church at 2pm on Friday 25th June

Together we raised over €3800.00 Juniors to Second had great fun skipping on the yard. Excellent Partner skipping in particular. Third to Sixth completed an astonishing 1013 laps .... that is just over 378km. That is longer than the distance from Waterford to Belfast. 4th Class had the most laps with 316.
