To celebrate Catholic Schools week, Fr. Paddy will celebrate mass on Friday 2nd February in the Heath National School for 2nd-6th class. Mass will start at 9.45am.
Junior Infants are getting vaccinated on Thursday 1st February. Parents/Guardian will arrive at the allocated time and stay for 30 minutes after the injection. Children will then go home with their parents/guardians after that.
Grandparents are welcome to visit their grandchildren in Junior and Senior Infants on Tuesday 30th January to share their stories and their faith on School Grandparents Day.
January is science month. Activities to encourage science will take place during the month.
Well done to our School Debating Team who defeated Portarlington National School in the 1st Round of the Laois/Offaly Debating Championship. They will travel to Ballyfin National School hoping to secure a place in the Quarter Finals on Friday 26th January.
The team yesterday was Darragh Walker, Mary O' Brien and Sarah Gorman as speakers with Tara Ring and Kate Ryan on Research. Team Captain Lucy Grace will return to the team for the next round. After Christmas Mr. Maher and Ms. Ging will be running a Debating League for all the pupils in 5th and 6th class |
