- Junior/Senior Infants School Tour takes place on Friday 14th June. They are going to Jungle Den in Naas. Leaving at 9.10am and returning home at 1.30pm €20 per child
- First/Second Class Tour takes place on Thursday June 20th.Jungle Den in Nass and Jump Zone in Liffey Valley. Bus leaves at 9am and returns at 3.15pm €46 per child
- Third/Fourth Class tour takes place on Monday 17th June. Redhills Adventure Kildare. Leaving at 9am and returning home at 2.40pm €40 per child
- Fifth Class Tour takes place on Thursday 13th June .Russborough House Activity Park Leaving at 9am and returning at 5pm €65per child.

6th Class Rounders Blitz takes place on Friday 14th from 9.30am in Heath GAA (Re-scheduled due to bad weather on 13th) Term 3 will be a busy and exciting period for Sixth Class.
Artist, Evgeny Chubatty, is visiting our class twice a week to lead our students in an art project that will take place over three weeks. Students will be exploring the local history of the Heath through the media of clay, fabric and fibre, construction and more. Our sixth class pupils have been involved in a photography project through the Schools Creative Clusters programme. A selection of their work will be displayed in the school hall at 7pm on Wednesday 12th June. The 6th class invites all parents, family and friends to their exhibition which will also include photographs taken by the 6th class of 1989/90. We hope you can join us and you are welcome to bring any other members of the community or individuals interested in photography. The Heath NS will be closed on Friday 7th June as the school is used as a polling station for the Local and European Elections.
The school will close for May Mid-term from Monday 20th May to Friday 24th May LAOIS GAA Pride Day takes place this Thursday 6th June. All classes are invited to wear Blue and White to support our Laois Hurlers in the Joe McDonagh Final on Saturday. Laois Abu!
The GAA football coach will visit The Heath NS. Paul Whelan, the recently appointed Games Promotion Officer from The Heath GAA club will begin coaching Gaelic football in the school every week. Paul will visit the school on Thursdays and Fridays and work with ever class from Junior Infants up to 6th Class. We wish Paul the best of luck in this new venture and hope the children enjoy working with him.

The Lunch Bag will being supplying our school with hot meals on Tuesday 4th June. There will be a launch day on Thursday 30th May when all families will receive details on how to order.
